Please can someone help with an image display issue.

  • Hi Guys.

Please see the attached images, the first image is from my website home page, whilst I’m editing using the block editor.

The second image is from the front end of my website.

The image just doesn’t show on the front end.

Can someone help me by telling how to fix this and also how to show an Image of my own choice in the box I’ve shown, but to mask it so that the text on the contact buttons is clear?

I hope that’s clear enough for you lovely people.

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

I checked the link to the background image you have chosen and it leads to an error 404 page:
    https://YOUR-URL/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/andy-li-laxcXxlLQiA-unsplash.jpg

Can you reupload the image in the media library and re-choose it under the Background section?

    Let me know 🙂

  • Hi Leo.

    Thank you for your reply.

Can you help me understand what you mean about “re-choosing it under background section” ?

I’ve gone to appearance- customise- background images- header

and chosen a new image, but the result is the same, with a plain gray solid background on the front end.

Is there anything else I can try?

(I’ve also cleared the site cache after every change.)

  • Hi there,

The section you’re referring to on your site is built with a GB Container. Therefore, you need to replace the background image directly on the container itself.
