posts page layout on multiple pages

  • I have selected “travel” to be the posts page on my website.
I’ve created a new page called “resources” and added it to my navigation menu but it’s showing with the same layout as my posts page and now the layout I designed.
It should look similar to the “guides” page.

I’ve attached an image of the page I’ve designed and the page showing on the website.

This is the page I’m having issues with: https://happycamperculture.com/resources/

    thanks

  • Hi there,

the resources page on the site is opening the Resources Category Archive page.

Do you have a static page called resources ? As well as a Category term of resources ?
If you do, then WordPress will choose the category over the page.
To fix that you would need to make sure the static page slug is NOT resources , it will need to be a different name to the category term

  • That’s it! My static page and category were both called “resources”.

Thank you, the page is showing correctly now

  • Glad to be of help !
