Preload Page Hero Background Image

I am trying to preload the page hero background image. For the single post or page when the featured image is present, I am fetching the image URL by using the “get_the_post_thumbnail_url()” function.

But how to fetch the image URL when the image is directly assigned under the Page Hero Header Hook? Is there any generatepress function present to call that background image?

Please let me know.
