Previous and Next links overlapping on body text

  • From some reason, the “previous” and “next” links that show up in blog post images in the Lens theme of GeneratePress end up overlapping on the body text instead of staying contained over the featured image like it should. I’m trying to understand why this happens and if there is a fix. I’m also just as happy to remove these links altogether if that is an option. Any help would be great appreciated.

  • Hi there,

    It was designed for templates that do not have comments, when the comments are activated, the page layout changes and the CSS which positions the post navigation, doesn’t work well anymore.

    A workaround here, try follow the steps:

    1. Go to appearance > elements > post navigation, select the root container, click copy.

    2. Go appearance > elements > Single post content template, paste the container into the left container:

    3. Add some left/right paddings for the left container so the post navigation does not goes to the edge of the left container.

    4. Remove this CSS from the customizer > additional CSS:

    @media(min-width: 1025px) {
    .paging-navigation {
         position: fixed;
         top: 50%;
         width: 40%;
         left: 5%;
    @media(max-width: 1024px) {
       .site-main {
          position: relative;
      .paging-navigation {
          position: absolute;
          top: 5%;
          width: 80%;
          left: 10%;

    Let me know if this helps!
