Primary Menu shifts

  • johnottomagee

    Hello Folks !

See the Primary menu on UC:

    Click on the items.
    And see the slight shifts.

    No shifts among:
    Welcome … Contrasts …
    Access … LogIn.

    No shifts among:
    Germany … United States …
    Patterns … Contact.

    But shifts between any
    of those two groups.

Any idea what it could be?

  • Hi there,

any particular device or browser that you’re seeing this on ?
And i may need a login to see the shifts as some of the pages are behind a account wall.

  • johnottomagee

    Super fast response time.
    Thanks, David.

I see the shifts on both
    Safari and Chrome.

    However, the shifts occur
    only when choosing items
    in the primary menu, not
    when choosing topics in the
    drop-down menus.

  • Hmmm… i tried for example going between Patterns and Login and i am not seeing any shift on the desktop menu.
Is it only happening when you’re logged in ?

  • johnottomagee

The shift occurs both when I am
logged in and not logged in.

    But you see no shift?

    Should I worry about this
or care about it or is it

  • Ill ask one of the team if they can check to see the issue.

  • johnottomagee

    Thanks, David.

    I suspect that I have a
    one of the settings wrong.

  • It’s because of the scroll bar, the access page is short, so there’s no scroll bar, while the patterns page is long, scroll bar shows and pushes content to the left πŸ™‚

    That’s it, Ying.

    I’ll leave it that way.
    Doesn’t bother me.

    Besides, I might end up
    adding content to those
    pages which will lead to
    a roll bar.

  • You are welcome John πŸ™‚

    I found a solution.
    Simple. Pragmatic.

I enlargened the spacer at the bottom of the pages
which were not long enough to require a scroll bar.

  • Glad to hear that πŸ™‚
