Hello, friends
I have a problem that I have not encountered before because I have not needed to use the function.
In the related posts configuration, placed with a GB query loop inserted with a GP Element and I can’t manage to add entries to exclude neither by title nor by ID (see screenshots).
I don’t know if it’s because I have too many posts and it doesn’t read them from the DB or because of some other problem.
Could I add exclusions through a filter or in some other way?
Tnx

Hi there,
If it does not show up in the autocomplete list, you should be able to add the title or ID manually and hit enter. Does that work?

Good morning, Alvind
No, there is no way to add exclusions by title or ID manually either, there is no response when you press enter.
-
Do you have a staging site that I can use to troubleshoot this?
-
Yes, I will pass you the access data to staging in the private information box.

Duplicate the existing Query Loop and delete the original one. In the duplicated block, you should be able to add items to the exclude parameters selection.

Hi, Thank you
I duplicated it and deleted the original, but it didn’t work.
However, just in case something similar happens to someone else, I then deleted the whole parameter and when I added the exclusion box again, the posts appeared and I could also add them by ID and/or tittle whith enter.
Now it seems to be working, I’ll try it in production and I’ll let you know if it went well.

Ok, it worked in production. We can take it for solved.
There was no need to duplicate and delete it.
It was enough to delete the complete exclusion and add them again so that the entries appear and allow to add them also by hand by title and ID.
Thank you very much for everything.

Weird, that’s what I did and it fixed the issue. Anyway, I’m glad to hear you managed to resolve it using another method.

Yeah, it’s weird, because I tried a lot of things including creating a new element, but you know, maybe some small bug with another plugin, snippet or something silly.

Anyway we should investigate the behaviour because something is happening, although it excludes the post I added, when I edit the element again or refresh it, it doesn’t appear anymore and it returns to be as it was at the beginning.

Thanks for reporting this. We’ll take a closer look at what might be causing the issue.
