Published date is not showing up

  • Hello Support Team,

I’m using GeneratePress Elements for the home page and the blog template. The published date is showing up in the Element Block when I’m editing them but does not show up on the actual page.

Can you please help me understand why it’s not showing up?

  • Hi there,

    That’s strange.

Can you disable all plugins except for GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to test?

    Let me know 🙂

  • Its a demo site and there are very few plugins, I disabled all of them. You can see it here.

  • Hi there,

If possible, could you provide temporary login credentials for your site so we can take a closer look at what’s going on?

  • I added a new user. Check the credentials in private information.

  • Have you tried switching to the GP parent theme?

I suspect some custom functions in your child theme is interfering the date output.

Let me know if this helps!

  • Ok. I got the issue. In the Setting=>General Date and Time format was selected as Custom and those custom fields were empty. It was a tricky one to find.

  • Awesome, that was indeed a tricky one to catch. Glad you resolved it.
