Query Loop Displays Different Results in Admin that in Frontend

  • Hello there!
I’m having an issue with the Query Loop which keeps me scratching my head for a pretty amount of time. Let me explain:

    1. I’ve inserted a block in a page that is not the defined blog page in dashboard > settings > reading
    2. I’ve filtered by Post, categories and status and ordered by Id
    3. I can see the output working fine in the preview, in the admin page, but when I go to the frontend, the resulting query differs: the posts are not the same.

That’s what I see in admin:

And that’s what I see in the public view:

These are the options for the block:

    Thanks!

  • Hi tehre,

I’ve filtered by Post, categories and status and ordered by Id

I only see the Order by Id, but don’t see the order (Des/Asc) being set up.

Can you try adding that to the query block?

  • Hello Ying,
Oh, My! I apologize for my clumsiness. It worked perfectly.

    Thanks very much!
