Query loop issue

  • Hello. Added a query-loop for posts from a category with pagination.
There seems to be an issue with the pagination, not showing the rest of the posts from the category.
Any tips for me on how to fix it? Link in private information

  • Hi there,

the site has a location blocker on it.
Can that be temporarily removed ?

  • It’s disabled now

  • So I see pagination that has 34 pages showing exactly 200 posts (?)
    Thats a very round number.

Is there anywhere on the site where more than 200 posts are being listed correctly ?
If not, then there is a possibility the server is limiting the size of the query.

  • Hi. It’s a site with many posts, more than 1800, big organization and old site. Organization have branches with their own category to sort posts. The catagory in question has 200 posts, a different category (branch) has 65 but has the same issue appears. Updated the private info with url to second category view. If server limit is the issue, will all categories be affected so that pagination won’t work for any of them?

  • Hum… I’m not sure I understand your question. I checked the category with 65 posts, and all the posts are shown on 11 pages. What is wrong with it? Is it supposed to have more pages?

  • Hi. I don’t get posts when using pagination, see private information for screenshot. So works when you test?

  • Aren’t those posts, this is taken on page 3:

  • Looks like posts, but I get pages. The owner of the site reports the same thing. See second screenshot, url in private.

Edit. I get the same result as in last screenshot for all, no matter what page I select from pagination (any of them), or hitting “next”

  • Hi there,

Could you provide temporary admin login credentials so we can review your Query Loop setup?

  • Ah, I see the problem now, post query needs to be on a blank page.

  • Glad to hear that 🙂
