Query Loops and Post Types Order

  • I have a query loop for my blog posts, but the client keeps wanting to rearrange the order. Of course, you can back date the posts and that will work, but it’s frustrating. Was wondering if I added the Post Types Order plugin, would I be able to drag and drop the order of the posts and the query loop will respect and display the posts in the correct order?

  • Hi there,

You can give it a try. Then, in the query loop settings, add an orderby - menu order parameter. See if it works.

  • Yes, the plugin works with the Loop. Relieved and happy.

  • Great to hear that!
