Hi there,
I like how elements work, the way you can create it once and deploy it to different pages. Can you do the same with blocks?
For example, I’d like to create the Sizes & Prices section as an element and then use on different pages across the site, by using a shortcode (see below and scroll down please).
Is this possible? I see in Elements that you can create a block but not sure how you’d do the above.
Thanks

Hi there,
At the moment, Elements let you build a block once and display it on chosen locations with Display Rules, but they don’t generate a shortcode you can place anywhere.
If you want to reuse a block section like “Sizes & Prices” across different pages, here are two options:
- Block Patterns → Save the section as a custom pattern under Generateblocks → Local Patterns → Add Pattern. You can then insert it on any page.
- Reusable Blocks → In the editor, select the block → Click on the three dot menu that opens up the additional settings → “Create pattern”. That way you can insert the same block in multiple places, and edits to it will sync everywhere.
So while Elements don’t have a shortcode output, Reusable Blocks or Patterns are the best way to achieve what you’re after.
