security vulnerability in GP Premium

Please check:

1. Go to Appearance > GeneratePress > License Key and confirm the key is activated. GP Premium only receives update notifications while an active key is in place. Also check in your account at generatepress.com that the license is still within its update period — expired licenses stop receiving updates.
2. Then go to Dashboard > Updates and reload the page. That screen checks for plugin updates as well as WordPress core, and lists anything it finds in its own “Plugins” section — GP Premium should appear there once the key is active. If it doesn’t show up straight away, wait a minute and reload again, as the plugin check is cached briefly.

If that still doesn’t offer the update, or the update fails to download, you can install it manually — this always works and nothing is lost, since all your settings live in the database:

1. Log in at generatepress.com/account and download the GP Premium zip.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin, select the zip and click Install Now.
3. WordPress will ask you to confirm replacing the current version — choose “Replace current with uploaded”.

Do I have to turn un this Button: Receive development version updates?

Only if you want to receive development versions of the plugin when they are available. On a live site, it’s better to have this setting deactivated.
