I’ve created an archive page based on tags, but when when I setup Archive Page element, I am only able to show the Category as the page title, and not the Tag.
When viewing a tag archive page, like “https://www.pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/sample-tag/”, I set the page title in my elements to be:
H1 Element = Dynamic Data (block settings on sidebar)
– Data source: Current Post
– Content Source: List of termsBut this shows the Category as my H1, and not the Tag.

Hi there,
Disable the dynamic data option in the sidebar, use the dynamic data option in the floating toolbar and set it to
title
.

Yes, sorry it was so easy. I swear I tried this. But it works now!

Wanted to flag one other issue that I am running into here. I have followed the instructions you provided above and it seemed to be working fine. However, I am running into an odd bug where some title show up, but others don’t.
I have a TAG Archive page here for the term: Soccer. It shows the title and description above the list of posts.
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/soccer/
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/tennis/
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/hockey/
But, on some TAG Archive pages, the title does not show up. Even through its using the same element template.
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/boxing/
– this one shows the description, but not the title.
– The others don’t have description
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/football/
https://pryvit.net/nashsport/tag/track-field/
Here are my settings on the archive template:
-
The archives that are missing titles are due to there being no posts published under them, for example, Track&field tag does not contain any posts, but a link (CPT).
When there’s no post, it uses the 404 template instead of the archive template, so no archive title will be populated.
I would try to use WP’s archive title block and term description block instead of GB’s headline block and dynamic content block in the loop template.
But I’m not sure if the term description block would even return anything.
