Side by side buttons

  • What would be the best way to do this?
I have a container with two buttons. I want the buttons to be side be side, not stacked. I want them to be centered in the container horizontally with space between them.

I have the container set to be inline flex, or flex, and to row, but they keep stacking vertically. I don’t have the vertical stack button clicked.
What is making them stack vertically?
What is the best practice to accomplish this simple thing?

    Thanks

  • Well..hmmm. Ok so I have a block with buttons in them which looks like it should be called a button block but I don’t see any such named block. It’s a GB container icon with a button in it, with two GB buttons in it. But I don’t know how I created that. Two buttons added to a container don’t seem to make that happen…?

  • Hi there,

select the Container Block that has your 2 x Buttons inside. And in the blocks toolbar use the Flex Matrix button to select a position to make them into a row, see here:

  • Thanks – any idea how I ended up with what looks like a button block with the two buttons in it? It looks like a GB container icon but with a GB button in it. I don’t see any other block builder that would have generated it.

  • Hi Jww,

For reference, can you share the link to where we can see this issue?
