This site received a ‘Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue’ email this morning.
I did find the client had other people adding some plugins without checking with me (groan)
But I thought I would just check in case the info is of some assistance in working out where the error has come from:

Hi Dave,
Based on the error, it seems the issue is coming from a custom function added to the functions.php file. If you can provide the code that has been added there, I can take a closer look and help debug the error.

Thanks Alvind – I didn’t notice the function.php mentioned in the error received.
I restored the website from a 2 day old backup, so can’t see the contents of the file from when the error occured.
But I’ve passed the info on to the site owner to pass on to whoever did this.This has been a client who has caused me some grief, they make decisions and get other people involved without contact with me.
BTW, there is a lot of additional PHP in the file, going down to nearly 1000 lines of code!

That’s quite a lot of code—maintaining it like this could be tough. Hopefully, you can get it sorted!
