Hi,
I have two issues:
1. there’s an icon behind the block, where you can see two darker spots on the right side.
2. the “seafood” block isn’t displaying recipes from my website.
I added the screenshots in the reply.
How can I solve this? -

Hi there,
Can you provide your site link?

Excuse me. Adding a link in the private info section.
-
It looks like you’ve imported the legacy version of the Chef template.
Do you want to remove the imported legacy template and re-import the new version?
If so, you need to disable v1 block at dashboard > generateblocks > settings, then go the site library, scroll to the bottom, click the refresh sites button, and find the Chef template and re-import it again.
Let me know 🙂

Thanks for the very fast reply, Ying.
I actually just installed Chef today, I would like to customize it a little and make sure everything is working fine. Is there a way to fix these two issues?

I actually just installed Chef today,
But you are still using the legacy template. The template you imported is using v1 blocks, it’s legacy blocks and will not be updated in the future.
I would strongly suggest removing the legacy template and importing the v2 template instead.

Sure, I didn’t know I was importing the wrong version, I wasn’t asked to choose anything while importing.
-
I know, it’s confusing. If you have used v1 blocks on the site, it will change to v2 automatically, only if you manully disable the v1 block, then you can start to use v2.

I just disabled V1 and imported the site again, the issues are still there.

Did you remove the link from the private info field? I can not check your site.
Can you add it back?

Apologies, here it is

Hi there,
I’ve checked the site and it looks like it’s still using legacy blocks. If it was switched to V2 before re-importing, this shouldn’t be happening.
Could you provide a temporary admin login so I can take a closer look at the backend?

I actually don’t have the option to disable it on the staging site, only on the live site.

That means your site is already using V2 blocks. Can you take a screenshot of the Site Library import page on your site? A V2 site should look like this:

Could it be that I needed to disable the V1 on my live site before creating the staging site? The library on the staging site looks the same as in your screenshot (added here), but go to my site now and see how it looks, it is completely not in place
