Style SVG’s Used In Custom UL and OL Lists

  • I followed the instructions in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPOuWbz9Uek) and was able to use an svg as the list image but it didn’t go into any detail on how to style an SVG (video only demonstrated using a .png).

Unlike when the same SVG is used as an icon for either a headline or text block there’s the “Icon” tab available for separate styling. Can you tell me where and how to style those svg list images?

    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

The list image option isn’t that flexible due to CSS limitations.

I would recommend just using an icon like you would for a normal headline/text block.

And you can set the headline/text’s HTML tag to li.

  • Thanks Ying. Simple enough and less head-scratching.

  • You are welcome, that’s just how I would do   🙂
