tablet/mobile views not displaying in editor

  • When editing a page, clicking show options for all devices displays the content in a desktop view. However, clicking show options for tablet or mobile causes the content to disappear. I only see the Yoast SEO panel in the editor window along with a few others.

If I go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner, select preferences, go to the Advanced section and disable Yoast SEO premium, then I can see the content in tablet and preview mode. Something has recently changed causing this behavior. Not sure if it’s a WordPress issue or GenerateBlocks one.

If I want to see the SEO page settings, I have to reenable the the Yoast SEO Premium but then I can’t view tablet/mobile content.

  • Hi there,

This is a WP 6.6 issue. See David’s explanation here:
    https://generate.support/topic/wp-6-6/#post-121210

    Thanks for your understanding 🙂

  • Thank you! Hoping they will fix this soon.

  • No problem 🙂

  • Hello,

Curious if you had success in getting the issue resloved. I’m having the same problem. I’m on WP 6.6.1

Thanks in advance if you have any further info.

    Kerry

  • This is something WP will need to fix.

You will need to use David’s workaround suggestion for now.
