Title Logo .jpg simply disappeared

  • Today when I went to my wordpress site, the graphic logo at the top of the page was missing.

When I looked under customization, it was missing there too. Simply gone. It has been there as long as I have used GP.

    Missing logo

I have the latest GP. I also noticed that quotation marks on some posts had been replaced with gibberish characters.

I removed three plugins that were recently updated, and reuploaded the missing logo. The logo was restored immediately, and the quote marks went back to normal.

What in the world could have caused the logo picture file to disappear?

    Thanks,
    Edgar

  • Hi Dworsky,

GeneratePress has no control over database/server storage of images.

It may have likely been a database or a server issue.
