Toggle block – Mobile Menu

  • Hi Team,

I’ve created a mobile menu using the Site Header and Navigation blocks.
Inside the Navigation block, I removed the default menu and submenu because I want to use the Accordion block and rebuild the menu manually. This approach gives me more flexibility in terms of design.
However, I’m facing an issue: the Toggle block opens the menu container, but it doesn’t close it.
How can I ensure the Toggle block opens and closes the menu container properly? (Open is already working)

    See private section.

In the backend customizer, it’s working. Only on the frontend I am facing this issue.

  • Hi there,

because I want to use the Accordion block and rebuild the menu manually.

I don’t think it’s a good idea, as you will need to create all attributes manually to avoide accessibility issues. If you are not familiar with the accessibility standards, I would recommend using the default menu.

If you really want to use the accordion block, try hiding the menu block instead of removing it, and add the accordion to the menu container block, so the menu toggle can function correctly. However, it will still create accessibility issue.
