Tried to use Single Lightbox Plugin but didn’t find media file links

  • Hello,

I tried to find the answers from the forum but there is not any specific answers.

I installed the simple lightbox plugin as David suggested in one of the posts. But when I tried to input the image link to that image, it leads me to that image on another page not at the same post page.

What I want to achieve is that when I click on that specific image, it will be bigger but still at that specific post page.

Screenshot of media file and attachment page that I can’t find in the editor: https://postimg.cc/GBQpYYHS

    Thanks,

    Xi

  • Hi there,

The settings should be handled by the Lightbox plugin. Have you configured it correctly?

  • Yes,

But their support documents have very limited articles and information. I tried to search it on Google and Youtube, but nothing very useful resource to find.

This is the link from Simple Lightbox plugin: https://archetyped.com/know/simple-lightbox-for-noobs/

There is nothing I need to do for except linking the file, but why there is no link to “media file” and “attachment page” options in the block editor there..?

  • I just did some testing, and it does show up on my end:

  • Hello Alvind,

Thanks for your help! I did figure it out yesterday. I should use the WordPress default image block, then it has the function of click to scale.

Thank you a lot! You always provide me valuable help!

  • Glad to hear that!
