Hey guys,
I’m reaching out because I’ve run into a typography issue on my staging site: https://stg-yoganridecom-yogacomstg.kinsta.cloud/
Despite selecting a new font in the GeneratePress Typography settings, the site continues to display the old font once the Customizer is closed. Here’s a quick rundown of the situation:
Issue Description
While the “Customize” panel is open, the site preview shows the newly selected font correctly.
Once I save changes and exit the Customizer, the site reverts to the old font.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken
Cleared cache and tested in incognito mode — still seeing the old font.
I temporarily switched from my custom child theme to the base GeneratePress theme to confirm that no custom code was causing the issue. The result is that all my customizations and styling (from the child theme) are missing, as expected, but the font issue remains in GeneratePress.
My developer has also confirmed it’s not any custom code preventing the font from loading. It appears that GeneratePress is forcing a different font from a style file.
Any ideas?

Hi there,
Do you happen to have server-level caching enabled? I’ve seen this issue often caused by server caching. If you do, try temporarily disabling it along with any page caching and see if the Customizer typography settings save correctly.

Hey there,
This is a staging site hosted on kinsta, no server cache on it, no cache plugin active.
Any other idea?

Is it possible for you to provide a temporary login to the staging site so we can take a closer look?

Yep, it’s in the private information box.

I logged in and saw a cache plugin enabled:

Hey guys,
I was not aware that plugin was there and active: my bad and I’m sorry to have bothered you 🙂
Thanks a lot,
F.
