Unable to edit reusable blocks

  • I have a resusable block listing travel resources that I put into the end of almost all of my blog posts, I need to edit it (and have the change apply sitewide) but I cannot edit it. It seems to be locked (checked for that obvious option and it isn’t). I can edit everything else sitewide just fine, not sure what is causing the conflict.

  • Hi there,

Is this issue occurring with just this specific pattern, or are you unable to edit any other patterns as well?

  • It happens with all my reusable blocks, where if I click “edit original” it makes it editable but in a VERY narrow space. If the block is longer than that narrow space I can’t see it to edit it, screenshot attached.

  • The issue is caused by WP removing the min-height for the content area, so the meta boxes move up and squeeze the content area.

If you access the pattern from GenerateBlocks > local patterns, does the editor work better?

    Let me know 🙂
