For some reason, I created these last few pages.
the URL appears like this https://smokeshields.com/https-smokeshields-com/flood-damage-restoration/https-smokeshields-com has injected itself into the URL structure when all the other pages prior to this look fine.
The URL structure is set up properly in the dashboard.
Post name
https://smokeshields.com/sample-post/The only thing I changed was the CSS per my earlier topic.
Odd thing: when I type in https://smokeshields.com/flood-damage-restoration/
it goes to https://smokeshields.com/https-smokeshields-com/flood-damage-restoration/and the mega menus are not appearing like I described in you last post.
I’m not sure what happened.
Suggestions on next steps? -
Hi there,
CSS has nothing to do with permalinks, and GP does not interfere with permalinks.
It’s likely SEO plugin or plugins that has redirect functions.
Try disabling all your plugins and if you are using a child theme, switch to the parent theme.

Hi Ying – you were spot on! It was a hierarchical plug in that created the problem. Funny thing. Once I adjust the pages the CSS broke and I had to correct it.
But all set.
Thank you so much for your insight! -
Glad to hear that and you are very welcome 🙂
