use GP premium effects for changing an image

  • I paid for your GP premium so I could take advantage of all the new features, and trying to use as much canned features as possible. I’m trying to use your Effects tools to change an image to another one, but I don’t see how to do that using Effects.

I actually want to flip the image either with hover, or with a button I might add.

Can you show an example of how I do this? I’m fine with using CSS, I just wanted to see how I could use it in conjunction with your enhanced tools.

  • Hi there,

For the particular effect you’re looking to achieve, the Effects module alone won’t suffice at the moment. You’ll need to use custom CSS to accomplish it.

By the way, the Effects module is a GenerateBlocks Pro feature, not a GP Premium feature.

  • Can it be done with Containers and an Effect on these?

    Similar to this: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/overlay-effect-on-hover/

  • For the overlay effect, you can achieve it by following the article. The flipping effect, however, will require a different method.
