V2 Container Link – Feedback

  • Hi there,

the new way of adding a container link, as described in the documentation here, has SEO advantages – great stuff.

But the method also has a small disadvantage. If I link a headline and then add the global style .has-container-link, the link can no longer be changed in the editor afterwards.

To change it, the global style must first be removed. Then I can change the link and have to add the global style again.

Perhaps there is a way to improve this?
If this is not possible, it would be good to point out this behavior in the documentation.

    Best regards
    Dieter

  • Hi Dieter,

I can not replicate this one, I can still modify the link of a button or text block within the container with container-link global style.

Would you like to provide an admin login to your site so we can see the issue?

  • Hi Ying,

I have stored the access data. You can do whatever you want, it is a staging-site, a backup is available.

It is the grid in the section at the bottom of the frontpage.

But it’s good to know that it works for you!
    Thanks for looking it up.

  • It works, but you need to select the entire headline block with all its text to access the link field:https://app.screencast.com/HHv9B382vFqYy

  • Ahh ok, I never noticed that before. Thanks for checking it out 🙂

  • You are welcome   🙂
