Hi,
I’m using the Voice pre-made template and Pingdom shows that images inside the hidden modal (Featured Articles section) are loading immediately on page load, affecting performance.
Question: What’s the recommended way to prevent Voice template modal images from loading until the modal is actually opened?

Still there are some pictures that could be loaded only when the visitor clicks on the search icon. Do you have any recommendation about this?

Oh, you mean those, no, they are not loaded during the initial load.

Thank you. I saw that on pingdom tools it was being loaded, that’s why I’ve asked, but it should be some kind of lazy load.

They are not loaded. The tool I used is the Google official developer tool.
