Website Body Text

  • The text on my website seems to be displayed in a different font when I view it in Chrome. It’s always been fine, until around the last week or so.

The text appears fine when viewed in Safari and on my Android phone.

Weirdly, when I view the website through the theme Customiser in Chrome, it also appears fine.

Can you please help me identify what this is?

    Many thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

could you try clearing the caches in the chrome browser ?
if the issue persists, open an Incognito / Private window in the browser and check the site through that.

  • Hi David,

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, I cleared all cache from Chrome but nothing changed. However, when I view the website through incognito, all seems fine. I’m not sure what this means?

    Lee.

  • So Incognito mode disables any browser extensions, caches and cookies & localStorage
If you have any browser extensions enabled then disable them.
If the issue persists clear the browser cookies.
IF it still persists reboot the PC/Mac, which should flush out any localStorage.
