Hi,
My website is at https://kammythurman.com. When I just tried to go into my home page to update it, I got this error message:

I deactivated all plugins, then reactivated Generate Blocks and Generate Blocks Pro. No prob. When I reactivated Generate Press Premium, it gave me this same error message again. I have GP Premium 2.5.1 installed.
Last August, I bought the annual GeneratePress One for $149.00. Do I need to get rid of the GP Premium plugin now that I have GeneratePress One?

Hi there,
can you disable the GP Premiun modules at appearance > generatepress while keeping the GP Premium plugin activated?
Let me know 🙂

Hi Ying,
Unfortunately, disabling the modules in appearance > generatepress while keeping the GP Premium plugin active didn’t make any difference.
BTW – a new GP Premium plugin update came through today. I activated the update, but that didn’t make any difference. I tried disabling the GP Premium modules in “appearance” again after the update, but still no difference.
I don’t know if this makes any difference or not, but when I click the “configure” link for the plugin I get a warning message that this plugin is not compatible with my version of WordPress. My version is 7.3.23. However, in the “At a Glance” section of my website dashboard, it says, “WordPress 6.7.2 running Generate Press Child theme.” Could this be causing issues somehow?
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Kammy -
The latest WP version is 6.7.2, there isn’t a 7.3.23. I’m not sure where you get that version from.
If you are using a child theme, can you switch to the GeneratePress theme?

Sorry, I misread the version. It was for the AWeber plugin, not WP. So, I am running WP 6.7.2 with the Generate Press Child theme. Are you asking me to make changes to the GP core theme? I was told that making changes to the core theme can cause real problems, and that I should use the GP Child Theme. Please clarify.
As a test, I switched over to the core theme, but got the same message when I tried to open the home page. This issue doesn’t affect any of the other pages on my site—only the home page.

Refreshing this request to get help. I still can’t access my home page with the current GP Premium active. All other pages are fine. I can’t even get into the page to see if there is something I should remove. Please help.
My website is https://kammythurman.com. I am using WP 6.7.2 with the GP Child Theme.
Below is the message I get when I try to open the home page with GP Premium activated.

Sorry for the late reply.
If you disable the GP premium, is the issue gone?
-

Yes, if I remove GP Premium, the issue goes away, but the page looks like garbage.

Activate GP Premium, go to appearance > generatepress, disable all premium modules, is the issue gone?
