Whenever I click on the container to work on it, the website moves around.
No idea, everything is updated on my site. The two examples are the main home page and a duplicate home page I’ve been using to look at different new design options. The homepage shows what it should look like for the first image and opt-in area. The second homepage shows what happens when I click on any container within the large image are. Content moves around.
No clue. This has been happening for a while, but I wasn’t updating it so I ignored.
Thank you

I’m working on the website and it seems that the padding removes itself when I am changing from one block to another.
For instance if I put padding in anywhere it stays and I save. If I go back into the same block or container etc. the padding is no longer there. If I don’t put it back in manually I’ve lost the padding.
Please help thank you

Hi there,
Could you try editing the page using a web browser without any extensions installed? This issue was previously reported by other users and was apparently caused by an extension, particularly Grammarly.
-
I am having the same issue on a completely different webs browser which has no extensions.
The no extension browser is safari the one with the extensions is Brave. I have gone to doing the web updates on Safari. I don’t use Grammerly. -
I deactivated every plugin except for GP GB pro. I’m editing on a browser that doesn’t have any extensions. I am using Safari. The child theme started as clinic. We’ve been using it for over a year.
Nothing in sizing or spacing stays put. Please assist.
Thank you

One more thing. I am sending you info I as I see something. Everytime I open an existing page, post or element regardless of when I worked on it last, all come up as “There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below.”
Even after I have worked on it, saved it, closed it and reopened. Just thought it was odd.
-
I’m guessing this is stumping everyone.
I’m on version GP 3.5.1
I don’t have the capability to set different sizing and setting for any of the views. Desktop, taplet or phone. If I change one they all go to blank. Thanks

all come up as “There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below.”
it’s a WP notice, not something the theme can control, if it bugs you, please check with WP’s support.
As for the question related to GenerateBlocks, can you provide an admin login to your site and keep all plugins deactivated?
If it’s a live site with traffic, please create a staging site so we can perform debug steps on it without affecting your live site.
-
I don’t know how to create a staging site. Yes it’s a live site.
Go ahead and do what you need to do credentials are in the bottom. There shouldn’t be much harm if it’s done quickly. You have admin access since I don’t know when you’ll be debugging and if you want gp and GB active I have left some of the site intact. Sorry I know you asked for all plugin to be deactivated, but this insures that you deactivate what you want and when.
Thank You

Hello,
Can I be given some sort of an idea when the situation with this site is going to be looked at to get the situation fixed? I don’t want to be uploading or working on the site while you’re debugging etc.Thank you.

I reviewed the issue you mentioned on your site and inspected the /home-2 page to identify the wonky behavior, but I couldn’t locate any visible problems. Everything appears to function as expected during my testing. If you could provide more details about the specific behavior or share a screen recording to demonstrate the issue, it would greatly assist in troubleshooting.
And for this issue:
I don’t have the capability to set different sizing and setting for any of the views. Desktop, taplet or phone. If I change one they all go to blank.
That is a WordPress issue since version 6.6, which they seem to have not fixed yet. For now, you’ll need to collapse the custom field meta box in the editor to get the full view of the editing area in tablet and mobile modes. See here: https://cln.sh/SCBXm1xF

I wasn’t able to make a video to share.
The system is not keeping the margin, sizing etc.
For instance home-2 has been being used to mess around in. If I make the image of myself smaller, then click off save, then come back to it to make more adjusting it automatically gets large again.another example: When I go into the first grid, make each container 50% they do this. Hit save. When I click back into either container they are no longer at 50% but a 100%.
When I make changes using the margins and such the same things happens. Sometimes they stay sometimes they don’t.
Please escalate this to another level. If you performed what I am describing above and didn’t have an issue, and I am having an issue where I cannot edit and keep edits, where is the issue and how do I get it fixed?
Also the last tech person said it needed to be debugged. Was debugging done?
I am removing access to the site until I hear back of what is happening.
Thank you.

I’m not sure why but I’m not able to log into your site:

The pw has been refreshed and should work now. The credentials are updated. I just logged in with your credentials. Please proceed. Thank you

So, I’ve conducted another round of testing to address the issues you outlined. You can review the changes I made on the /home-2 page. Here’s what I did:
– For the main headline, I added 30px padding on all sides, 20px margin on all sides, and set the text alignment to center.
– On the first grid, I set each grid item to 50% width.
– For the image, I adjusted the size to display as a thumbnail.I saved the changes and checked the frontend; all settings were preserved. I then edited the page again, and all backend settings also remained intact.
From my testing, it appears there is no issue editing the page on my end, which leads me to conclude that the problem might stem from the browser you’re using to edit the site.
Could you try editing the page again in a fresh browser session or incognito mode to rule out any potential issues caused by browser cache or extensions? Based on these findings, it seems the problem is client-side rather than server-side.

I am using a brand new private browser Safari, there are no extensions on it. I used it as private as well as non-private.I am on a mac. I haven’t had issues before why all of a sudden?
I am still having issues with the design staying put. I went back into the set up you had and clicked on the image. It did stay put as a thumbnail. However, as not a thumbnail it doesn’t stay put.
None of the other designs you set were preserved.
Same issues the blocks aren’t staying at 50%. The margins aren’t staying etc.Can you please escalate this to a higher tech support so we can get this situation taken care of so I can fix the issues.
Thank You
Janet
