Website is using the default homepage when I log out

  • My website: https://henhurst.co.uk/

When I am logged into wordpress the website looks as it should but when I log out its showing the default wordpress page and I can’t figure out what has caused this.

  • Hi Harper-smith,

It’s likely a plugin caching issue. You can test it out by adding ?nocache at the end of your URL: https://henhurst.co.uk/?nocache

Can you try disabling any caching/optimization plugins you have to test?

  • Hi Fernando,
Thanks for coming back to me, yes that appears to be the issue but I have cleared the cache then disabled the cache plugin and its still occurring; also disabled some of the other plugins and still the same.

    Any thoughts?

    Lee

  • Hi Lee,

Do you have server-level cache enabled? If so, clear that as well.

If you are not able to do so, you can ask your host to do this for you.
