Hi team,
I would like to add a shape, but when I insert the Shapes block, only icons are displayed, no shapes.
Do I have to import the shapes first? If so, where?Thank you!

Hi Stefanie,
The container has built-in shapes if you are using v2.1.0.
https://app.screencast.com/q9MNkJZ98FSTqOr you can use the independent shape, there are many shape generators on the internet, for example,https://getwaves.io/

Hi Ying,

Oh, I see! But then I don’t understand why the shape block is offered as an extra block that I can insert separately.
Or you can use the independent shape
I would like to add a shape like this one. Do you know a tool that can be used to build it?

Here’s another resource for Shape Dividers, which features shapes similar to those in your example: https://www.svgbackgrounds.com/elements/svg-shape-dividers/.

Thank you Alvind, that is a very helpful resource 👍
One last question: why is the shapes block offered as an extra block in the block inserter?
As I understand it, you can’t use it as a single element, but only in combination with a container.
See here: https://generate.support/topic/where-can-i-find-the-shapes-library/#post-165146Thank you!

No, the shape block is to add SVG icon or shape, it can be used independently.
