Which WordPress Core Version?

    Hi
    Some days (Jul 23, 2024) ago WordPress 6.6.1 was coming out.
    Is this Core Version compatible to the actual GP Version? Ore which ist the last supported WP Version?

    Is there a GP-Webpage, where always the last supported WP Version is mentioned?

    Hi there,

    yes, GP is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

    We monitor and track all major WP releases eg. 6.6 during there beta phase for any changes core makes to their code that may affect GP or our plugins. eg. the deprecation of a core function, or a modification to PHP versions etc.

    On the odd occasion WP do make changes that we are not informed of. If it’s an issue then we will patch it immediately.

    So 6.6.1 isn’t a major release but was pushed out to patch the issues in 6.6.
    I personally try to avoid upgrading to major releases on day one for the very reason that WP generally have to patch the release a few days later.
