Widget blocks are not behaving individualy

  • problem
when creating new element within a widget block, the settings for individual block elements affect multiple elements.

    steps
    1. add container to block widget
    2. add headline element
    3. change bottom margin to 5
    4. duplicate headline element
    5. change H2 to P and set bottom margin to 5
    6. duplicate headline/p element, adjust margin to 25

    result
margin on multiple headline elements change.

    expected
for the block elements to function individually; for element settings only apply to selected element.

    Appearance > Widget > …

  • Eh.. I don’t think you can create a block element within a widget…

  • Yes, a block within a widget.

  • I see, in that case, it’s a known bug, we’ll fix it in GB 1.8.
