WooCommerce rating stars are grey

Hello,
I’m running GP Premium and making a new site with WooCommerce.

I entered a few test reviews but am noting that the rating stars on the single product that show under the product title area (which I’m sure are added by GP premium as I didn’t put them there and they only appear with GeneratePress and not with a default theme) and the stars on the shop/product archive pages under each product are all grey and the tooltip on hover says “not yet rated.”

I have a color set for the stars in the customizer. The rating stars show in the comment/rating area correctly for the text product. But these stars added by the theme do not update.

I have gone into troubleshooting mode and deactivated everything except WooCommerce, the GeneratePress base theme (not my child theme), and GP Premium, but the problem still occurs.

Any idea what could be causing this?
