Background image bug with GenerateBlocks & GP Premium

  • I currently have a problem on one of the containers on a site with GP premium as a theme and a set of blocks (exclusively generate blocks). In a container, when I add a container background image, I have bugs appearing. When the image is on the global container, the image displays at the very top of the site, hides some content and is outside the block.

When I apply the background to an intermediate container, the image is sometimes in the container, but this does not correspond to what I want and another bug appears: the use of opacity, which should normally modifying the opacity of the image, also modifies the opacity of what is inside the container (buttons, cards..). Everything worked very well before, this problem is very recent and I noticed it since I updated GenerateBlocks to version 1.8.3 following the security flaw in version 1.8.2.

Is there a largest problem or could I solve it by myself ?

    Thank’s.

  • Hi there,

select the Container Block that the background image is attached to.
Go to Layout options and make sure the Position is set to Relative

  • I managed to resolve the error. Thank you for your very quick feedback David ! Have a nice day.

  • Glad to hear that
