Hey there,
I have a GP container with a background image.
Then a Greenshift Heading in the container.
The heading shows up in the admin editor fine but on the front end, it’s not there, only the background image.
I must be missing a setting with the background image? -

I’ve also tried it with a basic GP heading.
I’m just trying to overlay text on an image. Which I know is really basic it would seem but the text doesn’t show up.
Ideas? -
Does the image have
opacity
set lower than1
? if so, it’s using a pseudo element as the background image’s element type, you need to set the content inside of the container to beposition: relative
.You can wrap a container outside the heading and set the container to
z-index:1
,position:relative
.For more info: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/backgrounds-options-overview/#selector-1

Really strange. I deleted it, started over and it works normally. Super odd. Mabye a css clash somewhere. Cleared css, cache, reloaded, started over and it works fine π

Is there anything in GP that would let the background hero image rotate amongst 5 different photo on page re-load or every 15 seconds or something like that? I don’t think so?

There isn’t a built-in function for this.
To have different background images on each page load, it’s possible with PHP. Here’s a solution:
