Block – Content Template – Inner Container

  • Hi,

I have a Content Container that is used for a custom post type.

    • The Content Template contains a container and inner container.
    • However the post when rendered in MOBILE does not have the side padding that inner containers usually exhibit.

Are elements an exception to that rule?
Do I need to add some left/right padding to the container?

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

The container block does not have default paddings, it’s been a long time since we made the changes.

You need to set paddings for container blocks, no matter it’s in regular post editor or gp element editor.

The container that comes with an inner container is the legacy container, any new container is just one container without the inner container, if you need to, you can add another container into it as the inner container.
