Blog posts disappeared

  • Dear gp-team,

a reader informed me that certain blog posts on my website have disappeared. The whole text is gone, everything else is still there. And it’s not all the blog posts, just some. The pages seem to be all there. I’ve done a check of all the plugins. The culprit appears to be gp premium, because once I turned that one off the text was there again.

Can you help me? Necessary details are in the PI.
    Best,
    Birte

  • Hi there,

Go to Appearance > Element and try removing this element: Block #Jetzredenwir

  • Wow, thank you so much, Alvind! That helped!

  • You’re welcome!

  • Hi GP team,

I seem to have the same problem again, this time with another blog post that isn’t showing – instead I get a curious message. I have removed more elements, yet still one single post isn’t showing, even though it still exists. It was published 1,5 years ago, all the others from that time still show.

I checked all the plugins last week (see posting above). Can you, please, help me once more? Necessary details again in the PI.

    Best,
    Birte

  • Hi there,

you enabled the inherited query from the default template option for the query loop block, however, this is a static page, and it only has itself in the default loop, that’s why the query loop only shows one page.

For more info about that option:https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/#inherit-query-from-template

You need to disable this option and create the loop yourself by using the query loop parameters.

  • Hi Ying,

the article is back online again. Thank you so much for your quick help – you people are great!

    Best,
    Birte
