Just noticed this error on my new, just finished production site (no child theme, but open to it);
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete.Name Description
GeneratePress Child Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a templates/index.html or index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.How do I fix this?

That’s an odd issue. Have you tried installing the child theme? It seems like this error is related to the child theme.

I do not believe that I had done that with any GP site over the yrs.

I want to check the theme’s file structure to see if anything is missing, but it seems like the
Theme File Editoroption is disabled.Alternatively, you can temporarily switch to another theme, delete GeneratePress, and reinstall and reactivate it to see if it fixes the error.

Moved site to staging, deleted GP then re installed, works- error gone. Thank you for your help.
