Button colour when hovering taking link colour

  • Hello there,

I have created a button via Global styles, but it does not seem to be working as expected. It does not take the paddings right and the text colour when hovering is the general link colour set via the customizer (if I do not add a link to the button it work fine). Also, is it normal behaviour that the button does not add the icon from the Global style button?

You can see it from the second button onwards on this page https://fisiocomunidad.lafisioterapia.net/trial-homepage/

    Kind regards,

    Jorge

  • Hi Jorge,

    1. Remove the link color set for content, and add the link color for body instead.

    2. Icon is HTML, global style is CSS, so it’s normal that the global style does not add icon to the button ๐Ÿ™‚

let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Thank you Ying! Link colour sorted. Why it does not add the padding from the Global style button? It seems to take a default padding value that is not the global style I set for buttons (I need to change it every time I add a button to get it right)

  • GB button comes with default paddings, you need to remove the paddings for the local button, then the global style can kick in, otherwise, the global style will be overridden by the local button’s style.

Remember the style of the local button has priority compare to the global style ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Understood! Thanks a lot Ying!

  • You are welcome ย  ๐Ÿ™‚
