Closing overlay wont work after the second click

  • Hey there, i have a weird problem with the overlay. There is a link that leads to a specific section of a page. If i click it, it closes the overlay and scrolls to the section, but if i click again, after im still on the page, the overlay stays open.

You can test it here –> https://akademis-internatsberatung.de/

    The Link is called “Partnerschulen”

    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

thats an odd one… i wonder what the conflict is there.
If you disable the GP Smooth Scroll – does the issue still persist ?

  • Tried it and doesnt work 🙁

  • Is there any other plugins / functions that alter Link behaviour ?

  • Hm, tested a newer site i built and there it works. Fuck, so i have to find the plugin causing this…

    Thank you anyways!

  • OK, let us know what you find.

  • Hm, made a staging version, disabled all snippets and nearly all plugins and same problem. Tested something else. The other site where i worked, is a bit different. There i made the menu with the wordpress menu. On the page where it doesnt work, i made the menu purely with generateblocks. Maybe there is a difference (aria-current, some classes i have to apply)?

  • Fixed this by using a navigation block. Before i built this solely with generateblocks, but this works too. Maybe something to fix in future releases?

    Thank you again David!

  • Hmmm…. ill do some tests to replicate the issue, and we’ll see what we can do.
Thanks for reporting, and glad to hear you found a solution.
