I hope I make sense as I am new to this. I am having trouble getting the layout of the content container on the blog page of my site to extend to Full Width. There is no option for this that I can see. I have tried creating new pages, duplicating other pages but nada. I know there is a setting somewhere but after searching for a few days I thought I’d see if anyone could help me here.
This is the page: https://totallyfrank.com.au/blog/
Thanks so much for any help.

Hi there,
You can create a new Layout Element with full width setting and apply it to the blog archive. Here’s how to do that:
Go to Appearance > Element > Add New Element –> Layout. You can name it
Full Width Blog
.In the Content tab, select Full Width (No Padding). Under Display Rules, set the location to Blog.

Thank you for your advice. I’ve done what you suggested but now there is no padding on the left: https://totallyfrank.com.au/blog/
I feel like I have broken something somewhere.

I thought you said you wanted it to be full-width? 🙂
If you want some to have some padding, delete the Element you just created. Then, go to Customizer > Layout > Container and adjust the
Container Width
accordingly. -

Sorry if I have confused you. What I mean is if you look at the blog page in the section with the title “Sample blog post” there is a pale gray vertical bar to the right and left of the main white content areas. I want that to be white. Does this make sense?

Ah, okay. In that case, you just need to change the
Background
color to white under Customize > Colors > Body. -
