Custom taxonomy in an element?

  • I made 2 custom taxonomies with ACF that I’d like to appear in a page header element instead of the usual post meta. The posts in question are CPTs.

In a Headline blocks’ Dynamic Options, I can select ‘List of terms’ and the custom taxonomies appear in the Taxonomy dropdown but the term is not output. In fact, the Headline blocks aren’t output in the page html at all, even when the custom taxonomy is chosen for the post; I can see the custom taxonomies as classes for <article>.

I did see in other posts here that custom taxonomies & elements don’t work together but I’m wondering if there’s another way to get this to work? Ideally the Headline will not be displayed of no terms are chosen.

  • Not sure what I did but it’s working now, must’ve been something in the settings.

  • Glad to hear that 🙂
