displaying ACFs in a headline field

  • Hi,

Firstly, apologies if this is obvious and I really have searched high and low on the forum for an answer.

I want to display some custom fields within a Content Template element.

This is would be using a custom post type called Projects.

I have the pro versions of Generate Press and Generate Blocks

I’ve tried adding a Headline block and opened dynamic data, set to:
    data Source: This post
    Content Source: Meta data

But can’t find any of the custom fields I’ve set up to appear on all Projects post types.

I’ve tried playing around with the above settings, but no joy.

Pretty sure I’m doing something wrong, but any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks

    Luke

  • Did you try just pasting them in to the “Post Meta Field” box?

Mine don’t show up on the list, but if I go back to ACF and get the name of that field from Field Groups, it works. Usually I can’t see it in the preview in GB, but I can when I publish pages.

  • Rabidfox76 – thank you so much – it was as simple as that!

I probably should have thought of trying that myself, so apologies and thanks all once – you’re a gem!

    Luke

  • Thanks for the assistance Rabidfox76 !

    Much appreciated
