I tried following some guidance on another thread, but it didn’t work. I need to prepend a hyperlink with “mailto:” so as to turn it into an email link. I’m using a headline block formatted as <p> with dynamic data that uses prefix “Email: ” and custom field
email
as the dynamic data as well as link. I’ve also added a class to the headline block calledam_email
to be able to identify it with custom code. Can you tell me how to make this work? Screenshot below: -
Hi there,
Try using the GB dynamic data option in the right sidebar instead, and you can set the link type to email.

That helps, although I need to prepend the word “Email: ” in front of the headline and the only way I can see to do that is through the database icon in the formatting bar. However, when using that method, there is no option to set the link type. Is there a way to have the best of both worlds? If not, I’ll have to split it onto two lines or into two containers. Thanks.

Doesn’t seem to have this issue when I tested it:
