Elements visibility

  • I am working with GeneratePress Premium, GenerateBlocks free, Advanced Custom Fields and Custom Posts Types.
With Elements I make 3 hooks (1)Before the content, (2)After the content and (3)Before the footer.
    (1) and (2) are always seen, logged in or not logged in, they have public visibility
I need (3) to be private, I set it as private but I can’t view it while logged in as an administrator.
If (3) I make it public if it can be seen, logged in or not logged in.
    That could be happening?

  • Hi there,

do you have any caching on the site ? Does the issue persists if you disable that and clear the browser caches ?

  • Thanks David, yes I have disabled LiteSpeed Cache, and I have cleared the browser caches but it didn’t work.
I have noticed that when I leave public visibility to the third element in the top bar it says Elements(3) and when I change it to private visibility the bar says Elements(2)

  • Do you want the element to only show to logged in admin users on the front end?

If so, set the visibility to public, and add a user rule:

  • It worked correctly
