“Explore” theme revision

  • I want to reduce the overlap of the post headings and content on the hero image on the Explore theme from the library. Where are the settings for this?

  • Hi there,

Can you add in your GP Premium support key first?

It can be done in the first sidebar widget.

    Let me know 🙂

  • Done. Although I have realized that the overlay is actually a container on the hero image rather than the beginning of the content post, so I can change the spacing in the element. Unless you have any other thoughts?
    Thanks anyway.

  • Hi Chris,

The way you described is the way to go.

    1. Edit the page hero element, select the container block which contains the heading and post meta, set its margin-bottom to -50px.

    2. Edit the content template element, select the very outside container block, set its margin-top to 30px.

You can change the value to -60px/40px or -70px/50px, the 20px gap is due to the hero element’s 20px border width.

Hope that works for you 🙂

  • Thank you for the suggestion—very helpful.

  • Glad to hear that 🙂
