Hello, I used the CSS from this article, which enables the width of the Generatepress mega menu to be 100%: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/megamenu-100-width/
However, I still want the content in the sub-menu to be the container width while the submenu is fullwidth. Is this possible?
thanks

Can I see your site?

Can you try disabling the Navigation as header option:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/And set the Navigation Location to Float right?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-location/Let me know 🙂

Hmm. I will have a look although we want the nav as a header…
-
I believe we can tweak it so the layout remains unchanged between the two options.

OK and do I need to consider the cart and search icons etc.?
-
Consider what?
Do you mind giving my method a shot first and we can go from there?
You can always create a staging site to test the changes if this is live site with traffic.
Thanks!

Hi Leo, I switched to your solution but it just looks much the same as before.
thanks

Now try adding this CSS:
@media(min-width: 769px) { .main-navigation .inside-navigation.grid-container { position: relative; } }
Let me know if this helps!

Hi Ying, that is not quite what I wanted to achieve. I want the drip down to be full width, but the sub menus to be screen-centred and contained. Does that make sense?

Any chance you can provide a mockup for reference? Thanks!
