Global Styles – Cascading CSS

  • Hi,
When using the new Global styles feature on GBP, does it allow for cascading?
What I am asking is, instead of creating a style for each element, such as:
    .card
    .card .card-img
    .card .card-heading
    .card .card-subheading

how can I utilize this to work with HTML elements like so:
    .card img
    .card h2
    .card h3

So I wouldn’t need to add a class for each element but it would rather cascade down?

    Thanks,
    Dan

  • Hey danstramer,

    Yes, you can.

You just need to add h3, h2, img instead of the classes when creating the sub-selector:

  • That’s great.
    Thanks Ying

  • No Problem 🙂
